Upon design freeze at product launch, we in partnership with the key stakeholders for the scaled replicas develop a list of design requirements for the “statues”. In some cases there are moving parts that are essential to function to show a prospective buyer the user workflow or how the instrument works. Once the scope and requirements are agreed upon, we quote the effort to begin the project. The majority of the work is analyzing all of the components and eliminating as much as possible to make them as lightweight and cost-effective. Using SCIEX as an example, we have created 1:1 and 1:3 scaled replicas of their full family of products that are used globally at tradeshows and sales calls.
Project responsibilities:
The scaled replicas are a Turn-Key offering from SHEPPiD. We design, engineer, manufacture, assemble, package and ship the finished products to our clients globally.
